Mr. Ramhari Puri Sorakhutte, Nayabazar.
Mr. Puri is young and simple person. He is only 22 years old. His occupation is repair of worn shoes and living in street. One day he came to us and express his desire to open a small shoe shop in Sorakhutte, Nayabazar near to our Co-Operative. We query him many question regarding his occupation, financial position, fixed capital and monthly income amount. He told to us that he has no money, he earns daily NPR 300 only and this amount is spent on hand to mouth. He has no fixed capital for mortgaged. He said to us that without mortgage he can not success to take loan from Bank and Financial Institution. Our Co-Operative team has decided to flow loan NPR 20000 without mortgage in the heading of Micro Finance (Urban) service sector. After opening shoe shop 15 days he is earning NPR 1000 per day and he deposit cash an average 300 per day in his loan account. Mr. Ghimire is a middle class business man. His permanent address is Nuwakot District Thansing village. It is far from Kathmandu about 40 k. m. north sides. He came Kathmandu before two years ago for to check his fate. He started a shop investing NPR 5000 in Khusibuien Nayabagar. At first he sells out only plastic utensil. When he knows about our Co-Operative as well as our product of Micro Finance, he contacts us and hopes for credit. As we do regular counseling with him, we come out to know that he is generous entrepreneur. We flow credit to him NPR 35000 on June 10, 2008 without any mortgaged for only Three month in the head Micro Finance (Urban). He took money and start new business like supply drinking water bottle, LPG cylinder. He paid credit with interest in due time. We appreciate him. We again flow credit NPR 50000 on June 12, 2008. Now his business is fast growing. His wife is supporting and hands with hands to him in shop. His only daughter is study in English Medium Boarding School. His financial position is growing day by day and saving is also good. He is more laborious and honest in business. Now he has NPR 100000 credit to us, and his ability of credit is also high.
